Due to a series of events which in the end leave me completely depressed... I am unable to start the new website right now. Never fear though. I will work on it in December, when all of my tests are finished and I have three weeks of break to enjoy. The new site's going to be a blast.

No! The site is NOT dead! I just couldn't find any free time to do any serious updating that's all. Rest assured, that this site WILL have a major change! A new layout is being made right now, expect it to be up around December. I got a new chapter from one of the members, but I'll post it up as well near December, when I have all the free time in the world. Stay tuned.

Today, I have a new story submitted by one of our members. It's called The Cat's Meow. It's pretty good, actually, and funny too! Go read it now!
I also took off the midi. Yeah, it does get annoying after a while. LOL!

Nothing much is up right now. The menu has a cool new feature, if you would just put your mouse cursor on top of the button and wait about two to three seconds. Only two of the many pages right now have that implanted. I'll finish the rest of them later on. Aside from this little spiffy Easter Egg, I've added in a midi. I've found out that it's too bland right now. The song will stop automatically after playing for two times.
Yes, I know some of you are easily annoyed by this midi, but I like it. So there.

Over the past two days, I was too lazy to do any updating. I'm sorry. XD
But to make it up to you, a new story has just been submitted by one of our members - Gekko.
I'm A Solder: part 1, 2, and 3 are now up.

Well! What do you know? The menu is finally up on the left hand side! Now people can navigate through the site with no problem at all!
Most of the stories are now up, save for a few that I shall not post until their authors have finished writing. I'm not going to update 20+ pages every time they completed a chapter. It's going to kill me.
A few pages don't have any content in yet. I shall put them up in the next two days. All that I care right now is making the layout complete in all major sections, which I have just finished.
Have fun! Oh! Please vote at the poll on the left below the menu. I need some ideas of what the guests want to make this place even better.

*Gasp! Wheeze~!*
I've finished posting two stories today: Future is Like A Dream and Memory Loss. Only both of them have took 2 and 1/2 hours to complete. See the inconvenience of lacking a MySql Database? I really need to learn how to work the PhP to its fullest potential.
The menu is still not up yet, no, not after I have completed EVERY single page within the site. Don't worry, give me 4 more days and I'll be done.
On a side note, while I was working hard to get everything back up, four computers with different IP Adresses were trying to connect to my computer. Now, ever since the MSBLAST Worm has created havoc and chaos, more and more computers were trying to have a direct connection to my beautiful CPU. My guess is that the cause of this is most likely the Worm's fault. I love my firewall. Curse it!!! Curse the Worm to hell!

I've done the Link section for today. The story database will be up hopefully in the next two days.
Now, some of you might already know, if not, all of you, that there's a new computer worm that is infecting many people's computer. Here are some info regarding to this new MSBLAST worm:
=================
According to the officials, this virus always attack between January and August of 16th to 31st. In addition, from September to December, every day it will attack Windows Update Server. It also attacks through port 69 and 4444. When you got attacked, the computer will either cannot open certain programs normally or it will freeze, or your internet will be completely flooded with garbage making it nearly impossible to access. Most of the time, it will reboot your machine over and over again.
The only way to you can get rid of it, is download the Trend Micro System Cleaner, and the Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-026.
Even if you do reinstall the windows, the virus will always be there.
You guys better get the Trend System Cleaner fast. The virus will be attacking again on August 16th.
=================
=================
If you have found out that your computer is infected while running, do the following:
--------------------
1. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to open the TaskManager or CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
2. Find MSBLAST.EXE and end the program.
3. To prevent the worm to open up automatically later on, go to START -> RUN
4. Type in Regedit
5. Oh the left handside, choose the following at the same order:
HKEY_ LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Run
6. Then, on the right handside delete "Windows auto update" = MSBLAST.EXE
--------------------
And the most importantly, if your computer hasn't gotten the worm yet, DOWNLOAD THE SYSTEM CLEANER FROM THE LINK THAT I'VE POSTED IN THE PREVIOUS POST! That will wipe out the virus in a easier way. But you also have to download the lastest update patch from Microsoft Bulletin Update Patch!
=================
=================
You get the virus through internet connection. This worm is very smart. By infecting a computer, it is able to literally scan through the entire 'net to see if it can infect other windows or not. Once it has found a target, it sends itself through the connection and infects its hosts. Then the process continues.
On average, people who are online for over 25 minutes will get the worm if they don't have any protection whatsoever.

I've finished the Story section and all the necessary zones within that area. All I gotta do now is get those stories back online and finish off the last two links which are Link and Credit. Don't worry, it's nearly done.

Well... After two days, what have I done? Nothing much. I didn't have the time to actually work on this site, but don't worry, I'll get it done before the summer holidays end.
Today, I have finished the author section of the site. The links in the menu won't be up still, until I have done every single page. So be patient, you'll get to browse around this place soon enough.

Argh! After three days of work and each day is around five hours, I have finally completed the new layout of Fiction-dot-Net!
Even though no contents are up right now (something that I need to do over the next three days) because of the revamping, but I've decided to show you people the new face. So what do you guys think?
